Club history of the (NM) Roswell Woman's Club of Roswell. The club's first president was Harriett B. Kells, elected on July 9, 1895. Records indicate she left Roswell before 1904. Also includes a book titled "Dear Mr. Carnegie," written by Dorothy Cave from Rosewell, New Mexico. The book is a history of the Woman's Club of Roswell and their successful bid for a Carnegie library. Written in 2006 and submitted in 2013.

Exterior of the Canton Carnegie Library of Canton, Kansas. The Canton Literary Study Club of Canton, Kansas is credited with helping to create and fund the library. The library was constructed in July 1921 and designed by architectural firm of Washburn & Stookey, of Ottawa. The club donated its library and furnishings to the new library, which opened on 1October 1921. The library was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
