Title Maude MacKenzie
Description Maude MacKenzie oral history, conducted by Shirley Richard on 26 October 1992 in Madison, Maine. Maude was president of the Maine Federation of Women's Clubs, 1947-1949. Includes an eight-page transcript.

Maude joined the Business Girls Club at the YWCA in Alban, Maine while in Business College. After she married, she moved to Orono and joined the Orono Women's Club in 1933. The Orono club benefited from participation and assistance of the University of Maine faculty. She started Epsilon Sigma Omicron (ESO) in the Maine Federation of Women's Clubs in 1947.

GFWC gave Maude an award for "Longest Outstanding Record of Leadership" during the Diamond Jubilee celebration in 1965. She later served as parliamentarian for the Maine Federation and set up a reciprocity bureau to exchange papers written by club members among various clubs. She also belonged to the St. Petersburg Women's Club in Florida.
